ENGLISH 2
Some class periods had notes to finish-up from yesterday. If you are in 4th or 6th period, please see the slides in yesterday's post. All classes did take a look at the notes again to identify the significance of including information from just before the significant event took place: the significance is that it builds context for the reader and allows them to more easily see the contrast between what you valued or how you were prior to the significant experience. After revisiting the notes and taking a moment to think about our significant experiences, we began reading the last section of Night. We got through chapter 7 in every period, but some classes got a little further than others. The remainder of the book is to be read between today and Monday morning. Our final reading quiz will be first thing Monday morning. LEADERSHIP We continued our conversation on movements and looked at some vital elements that tie-together this concept of a movement with active listening, relationships, and influence. We had a few NOTES to jot down as we viewed a couple of videos and held some conversation about the roles we can play in situations similar to the movement in today's video. We also watched another video about "The Golden Circle." this video took us to the end of the class period and will be revisited either tomorrow or Friday.
