Periods 1 and 2 We built our conclusions today. Most of the period was spent going through the conclusion process in the STRUCTURE handout from Tuesday. By the end of the period, the expectation was to have a completed conclusion paragraph. This would mean that each student has had class time to draft out and organize their entire essay. Period 3 We worked on understanding the assessment process today. We walked through Miss Clark's essay as a sample process of understanding how what is expected. This included reading the text and identifying what each paragraph was about, what was missing or could have been strengthened, and where each part of the rubric applied. Then we went through and saw what grade Clark's essay would receive. It might look pretty and typed up, but the grades assigned for this essay are not very high. Rubric Health Today we continued with stress, but we're moving on from this on Monday! There were two things we did today: -Stress Video -Group Scenarios STRESS VIDEO --> Watch the video summary on stress and how others have handled stress. GROUP SCENARIOS --> Students were assigned group numbers, then broken into groups to discuss one of the six scenarios in the document below. The groups worked together to complete the organizer and discuss what the best option for their character would be. List of Group Scenarios Group Work Worksheet
