ENGLISH 2
Periods 1 and 2 had all period to process and make adjustments to our essays. I had students switch work and make comments and suggestions for maintaining formal register as well as having a smooth flow in writing. After the peer edits, students were to go back through their writing and make adjustments as well as add content to their paragraphs. Groups were also instructed to begin working on a conclusion paragraph if they got that far today. Here are the DIRECTIONS AND PROCESS we went through today. They were very straight-forward today. Periods 4 and 6 were tasked with helping with the food drive sorting. Fourth period had about 20 minutes to make suggestions and comments regarding maintaining formal register as well as having a smooth flow in writing, but we then went to the gym to help unload the truck from Safeway. Sixth period was in the gym all period. FRESHMAN LEADERSHIP FOOD DRIVE SORTING DAY!!!!! We checked-in at the classroom and then went down to the gym to help with sorting the all of the food donated over the course of the past two weeks!
